Respecting the requirements of the main legal act governing environmental protection – Law on environmental protection (Official gazette of RS, No. 135/04, 36/2009, 72/09, 43/11 and 14/16), operations of the new and existing plants and activities with potentially negative impacts against human health and environment or material assets, are subject to integrated (IPPC) permitting which should enable prevention and control of the environmental pollution. IPPC permitting is in detailed prescribed by the Law on IPPC (Official gazette of RS”, No. 135/04 and 25/15), including types of activities and plants, conditions and procedures for permit issuance, supervision and other issues of importance.
Decree on the types of the IPPC permitting activities and plants (Official gazette of RS, No. 84/05) introduce the list of the newly developed activities and plants being subject to IPPC permitting, whereof the new installation from this list may not commence the operations without previously obtained IPPC permit. On the other hand, operators of the existing IPPC installations were obliged to obtain IPPC permit by 2015, as prescribed through the Decree on determination of dynamics for IPPC permit application (Official gazette of RS, No. 108/08), but the revisions of the IPPC governing Law prolong it until the end of 2020.
For the IPPC operators our team develops applications for IPPC permit and all supporting documents and annexes following requirements of the Regulation on the content, form and completing method of the IPPC application (Official gazette of RS, No. 30/06 and 32/16).
